Additional Details

A charming booklet described as the "first catalog of the gasoline-driven Oldsmobile" by Ernest J. Wessen in a 1964 Midland Notes catalog. Extensive descriptions and photographs of the vehicle in all sorts of trial situations, weather and extreme conditions to demonstrate its reliability and practicality. The basic cost of the standard car was $650, with many illustrated extras such as a leather top canopy, wooden wheels, a rear-facing dos-a-dos seat, mud guards and a luggage box being offered separately. Scarce item, appearing only once at auction, Streeter 1969.
