A group of professional images of car accidents mostly in California and the Pacific Northwest, depicting overturned vehicles, side-swiped cars, mangled front ends, totaled vehicles, a truck trailer ablaze, and images of first responders on scene, including lifesaving efforts and groups of onlookers. Silver prints, the images mostly measuring 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4), eight approximately 5x7 inches (12.7x17.8 cm.), more than half of the photographs with the photographer's credit hand stamp or credit, in pencil, and a few with the date or notations, in pencil, on verso, approximately 20 with hole punches; in a contemporary binder. 1930s-70s
