The Graf Zeppelin completed its first trans-Atlantic voyage on 15 October 1928, limping into Lakehurst, NJ after sustaining heavy damage to one of its fins. These photographs were taken at Lakehurst during that first stop, a site later known for the Hindenburg disaster. The images are titled: Graf Zeppelin in Hanger; Graf Zeppelin--Radio Room; Graf Zeppelin--Damaged Fin; Graf Zeppelin--Sleeping Berth; Graf Zeppelin--Passenger Cabin.
