Depicts the first known balloon flight in England, launched by Zambeccari and Biaggini in London. This engraving was published just six days after the flight. "Probably the first engraving of any aerostatic experiment in England"--Hodgson, "An Early Ballooning Collection," in The Connoisseur 35 (1920), page 135. We find no other reference to this important and curious image.
