Additional Details

Marianne Clouzot (b1908), French painter, sculptor, engraver and illustrator enjoyed a major retrospective of her work in 1995, titled "Le Musicienne du Silence" (The Musician of Silence). Her father, a celebrated art critic taught her the technique of watercolor painting when she was a child, and her first drawings were sold in a gallery in Paris when she was ten years old.
There is no record of this work being published, nor is there any record of its odd title, "L'Douglas Revue," which was probably created during the heyday of Josephine Baker's Paris performances.
