Sage of Buffalo, with identical advertisements on back cover and verso; each 7 x 8 3/4 inches, removed from a scrapbook with varying levels of damage, two of them lacking areas about one inch square. Additional Details

The 1887 Brooklyn Grays were sixth-place team in the American Association; their better players included Adonis Terry and Germany Smith. They later moved to the National League and gained much greater fame as the Brooklyn Dodgers. These scorecards include 22 April vs. the Baltimore Orioles; 2 June vs. Charlie Comiskey's champion St. Louis Browns; 17 June vs. Pete Browning's Louisville Colonels (3 innings scored, rained out); and 20 July vs. Louisville. with--2 baseball-themed trade cards, one captioned "Bravo! Pet of the Nine!", both trimmed and removed from a scrapbook.
