Additional Details

One of the first major lifestyle magazines in Germany, Die Neue Linie was targeted to women as consumers of taste, fashion, and home design. It focused on fashion, literature, travel, art, and architecture, and most of the contributors were members of the Bauhaus, including Bayer, Moholy-Nagy, Peter Behrens, Willi Baumeister, and Wilhelm von Scholz; Hermann Hesse contributed a few literary pieces as well.
