Autograph Manuscript Signed for his "Notes on Bermuda." 9, 11, 3 unbound manuscript pages in three parts, 11 x 8½ inches, each inlaid to a larger sheet; extensive holograph revisions and printers' directions, horizontal fold, minor wear including small punch hole in upper corner of each leaf; signed by Morley 5 times (at the beginning and end of the first part, the end of parts 2 and 3, and once on a presentation inscription at the top of the first page). In a custom ¼ morocco folding case, top half detached, with bookplate of Herman Abromson. [New York], circa 1930

This essay by the noted American poet and humorist was first published in the Saturday Review of Literature, 5, 12 and 19 September 1931, and was then published as a small book shortly after.

Accompanied by a first edition of the book. 32 pages. 12mo, original boards, minimal wear; inscribed "For K.B.L. [Katherine Bulkley Lowry] who owns the MS, with best wishes from C.M." New York: Henry, Longwell & Another, 1931.
