Additional Details

An accomplished watercolor and ink drawing of this important colonial settlement, seemingly copied from Sandby's view of Bethelehem, which was published in Scenographia Americana. In format and style the drawing closely resembles other watercolor views of the Settlement made from life by Nicolas Garrison, which are now held in the Moravian Archives.
