one of only two copies specially bound by morris for himself, so written, initialed, and dated on the colophon, from a total edition of 210. The first part of the book describes a visit made by Henry Morris to J. Barcham Green, the famous hand papermaking firm in England. It also gives a history of the firm and reproduces correspondence between William Morris and Joseph Batchelor regarding the production of paper.
