Additional Details

First and perhaps only issue of "the theoretical journal of RAM--Revolutionary Action Movement, Black Liberation Front of the U.S.A." It was headed by Robert Franklin Williams, a former NAACP leader in Monroe, NC who had set up a rifle club to defend his community against the Klan. He went into exile in 1961 and published "Negroes with Guns" in 1962; he was cited as an influence by the founders of the Black Panthers. This magazine features an article titled "The African-American War of National Liberation," articles on the visit of revolutionary Mohammed Babu of Zanzibar to Malcolm X in Harlem; and more. None in OCLC.
