A pair of uncommon 'Wanted' posters, not issued by the FBI as usual but rather by New Jersey, the state in which Chesimard had been held, serving a life sentence for the shooting death of a New Jersey State Trooper. Chesimard's poster bears the following warning: 'USE EXTREME CAUTION TO BE CONSIDERED EXTREMELY DANGEROUS." Chesimard's escape was carefully planned and boldly carried out by a band of fellow Black Liberation Army compatriots. She is still free, living in Cuba.
