The Bobby Seale Chicago Seven/Eight Trial was never normal. Things became truly confused and crazy at one point, with Judge Hoffman ordering "Chicago Eight" defendant Bobby Seale gagged and chained to his chair during his trial. Seale was then charged with killing Black Panther Party informant Alex Rackley in New Haven, CT; the contempt charges were eventually dismissed and the murder trial ended with a hung jury.
