A barefoot mother holds a baby and carries a rifle slung over her back. "The original drawing for this poster was made in 1966 before Douglas joined the Black Panther Party"--"Black Panther: The Revolutionary Art of Emory Douglas," page 18. It was later used to illustrate the poster for his October 1967 Revolutionary Art Exhibition. We have not offered this one before at auction.
