"Rally--12 Noon--Sproul Steps--Bobby Seale." Advertising a University of California Berkeley protest against Seale's 5 November 1969 sentencing as part of the Chicago Eight "Give Lindsay . . . a Special Berkeley Welcome." New York mayor John Lindsay was scheduled to speak at the University of California. To protest his silence on the subject of Bobby Seale's trial, radicals were invited to "come ready for a little fun, a little guerilla theatre--you know the scene." Illustrated with a portrait of Seale in red and a raised fist. [2 April 1970] "Ann Arbor for Bobby Seale!" During his campaign for Mayor of Oakland, Seale traveled to Michigan for a rally where he was joined by John Sinclair of the Rainbow People's Party. 13 February [1973].
