Additional Details

The highlights are two celebrity photos from 1974. Davis is shown in a chance 9 September meeting with boxer Muhammad Ali at a New York airport: he signs an autograph for her; then she signs an autograph for him (caption: "Mutual Admiration Society"). A 28 October image shows Davis at a Puerto Rican independence rally in New York with actress Jane Fonda; another shot from the same rally shows her with a Puerto Rico Socialist Party leader.

A 28 December 1969 collage photo of Davis and other Black Panther leaders was produced to accompany a UPI feature article on the Panthers. A double portrait from 13 October 1970 shows Davis in her office-worker disguise, alongside her co-defendant David R. Poindexter, following their arrest. 4 other photographs of Poindexter from 1970 and 1971 all mention Davis in the captions.
