Additional Details

To say the year 1970 was a year of tumult can hardly cover the breadth and scope of what the nation was experiencing. At Kent State, four students, participating in a peaceful 'End the war in Viet Nam' demonstration were shot and killed by nervous and 'trigger-happy' Ohio National Guard troops; Nixon was found to have been conducting a secret bombing campaign against Cambodia, a neutral nation; all across the country students were avoiding the draft, and demonstrating against the war. Meanwhile, the ongoing trial of Bobby Seale and other Black Panthers helped stoke the fires of discontent among the nation's Black communities. Students at Boston Fine Arts School produced this and several other posters. Issued in small numbers, they hardly ever come on the market.
