Many of the issues contain revolutionary art by Emory Douglas. Highlights include the 30 August 1969 Bobby Seale "Kidnapped" cover; 1 November 1969 issue with the "Bobby-Huey Political Prisoners of USA Fascism" cover; and the 2 March 1971 issue denouncing Eldridge Cleaver (for the other half of the story, see lot 127). By year, the 43 issues include 17 issues from 1969 (one lacking the first leaf); 18 issues from 1970; and 8 issues from January to October 1971.
