A mix of classic material from the 1970 New Haven Black Panther trials, but we haven't seen this configuration before. On the front is Eldridge Cleaver's "The Black Panther Manifesto," illustrated with photo portraits of 8 defendants plus a small reverse image of the classic Emory Douglas rendition of Bobby Seale in the electric chair. At the bottom is the address for the Black Panther Party Legal Defense Fund in San Francisco. On the other side is a full-page version of Douglas's electric chair image, here captioned "If the Fascists Attempt to Murder Chairman Bobby and the Connecticut Panthers in the Electric Chair . . . There Won't be Any Light for Days." At the bottom is the address for the New Haven Chapter of the Black Panther Party.
