Additional Details

Features an illustration of Eldridge Cleaver, H. Rap Brown and white radicals Jane Alpert, Daniel Berrigan and Bernardine Dohrn. Celebrating the draft resisters, Black Panthers, and other activists who have run afoul of the law, it announces that "today the Underground Railroad is being revived . . . so people may fight slavery, abolish an unjust system, and win their freedom." The title comes from the Jefferson Airplane song "We Can be Together," which was in turn inspired partly by the Panthers. One copy in OCLC, at the University of Virginia, and none traced at auction.
