Additional Details

The introduction announces the new Afro-American Liberation Army as an alternative to "the criminal direction that Huey P. Newton . . . has taken the Black Panther Party, which is now no more than a low level Mafia organization." It features a long article by Geronimo Pratt written from prison; a tribute to his slain wife Saundra; a long interview with Pratt, Roland Freeman, and Ronald Freeman; an essay on "the Hooligan Right Wing Newton Clique," the poem "Niggertown" by Bunchy Carter, an essay titled "The New Urban Guerrilla," and an appeal for donations to the Free Geronimo Defense Fund. The rear wrapper has an illustration very much in the style of Emory Douglas captioned "In Revolution One Wins or Dies, Death to the Fascist Pigs."
