Folio, lithographed covers, 3 by Bonnard and 2 by Jarry, mildly toned and in good condition but for "Velas" which is missing the lower left corner, not affecting design or text. Volumes include Trois Chansons à la Charcutière by Franc-Nohain: Du Pays Tourangeau Malhereuse Adèle Vélas, ou l'Officier de fortune. All with covers by Bonnard. The other two comprise Jarry's series Ubu Roi and contain covers designed by him: Ouverture d'Ubu Roi and Marche des Polonais. Lacks La Chanson du Décervelage, La Complainte de M. Benoît, Paysage de Neige, and Benjamin. The Théatre des Pantins was begun by Jarry, Terrasse, and Franc-Nohain who enlisted Bonnard to design the famed Ubu Roi marionnettes, the background scenes, and these cover designs. Roger-Marx 49-54.<
