Includes images of workers posing in the shaftways, airlocks, and tunnels with train tracks and other construction elements, as well as a handsome posed group portrait of the engineers and inspectors in hats and bowties, and a couple outdoor scenes with large equipment. Silver prints, most measuring approximately 6 1/4x8 inches (15.9x20.3 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, one 3x4 inches (7.6x10.2 cm.), mounted recto/verso on stiff gray card, 17 with captions (sometimes including a date) and numeric notations in the negative.
