Additional Details

one of only 25 hors commerce copies reserved for the artist and collaborators from a total edition of 375. Initialed "G.A." beneath the H.C. designation, possibly reserved for Guy Arnoux, under whom Boullaire studied. A lovely collaboration between Loti's romantic text and Boullaire's impressions of the island from his travels there. Created on a hand-press of the master printer John Crès 53 days after the liberation of Paris.
