Original artwork for Valmor Products' 'Gro-Strate,' together with over 100 labels from the Valmor Company and its many brands catering to the needs of black hair and black skin. 11 x 11 1/2 inch pen and ink drawing showing the product in a 'Before and After' type setting. Matted with two windows, a wide narrow one for the product name. Added to this are an assortment of multi-colored labels of various size, unused and in fine condition. should definitely be seen. a rare piece of original artwork for one of valmor's best-selling items. Valmor's line of products included Sweet Georgia Brown, Glo-Brite and Madam Jones brand creams, salves and straighteners, and were all very popular with black consumers in the highly competitive cosmetic market. Where Madam Walker's products were more straight-forward and straight-laced, Valmor offered items like Lucky Mojo Toilet Water and Sexcite perfume. Included here is a huge order form--19-1/2 x 14 inches, printed on both sides-- listing hundreds of cosmetic products for men and women.
