Paschal's Restaurant opened as a small luncheonette in 1947, and has grown into an institution proclaiming itself as "Atlanta's best soul food restaurant." These three uncredited publicity photographs are apparently from the original 831 West Hunter Street location. One shows the restaurant's small but well-stocked bar, and another taken at about the same time shows the long lunch counter to the left of the bar. A third features different decor.
