Folio, 286x188 mm, contemporary calf with gilt arabesque centerpiece on covers, extremities rubbed, spine chipped at top, missing bottom compartment, lacking ties and front endpapers; occasional light dampstaining in blank upper margins, outer margin of folding plates cropped, title and next 2 leaves frayed along fore edge, paper crack in inner portion of plate facing page 86 in the first part, later marginal note in ink on page 190 in second part.
