The archive is heavily oriented toward early 20th-century car culture. Including: 17 small panoramas of car races on Daytona Beach, including portraits of drivers with their cars, in the surf, and spectators; 23 photographs of French car races and tracks, many with Meurisse's credit on verso, all with typed captions; 2 contemporary collages with early cars as well as color photographs, with a signature; a panorama of cleaning a car on the beach, no caption, flush mounted and another oversized photograph of an American race (flags waving) with a photographer's stamp; an album titled A Souvenir commemorating the 1946 revival of the Glidden Tours compiled by The White Motor Company - Cleveland, Ohio with 13 photographs; 26 small frames depicting German racing; 37 photographs, International Automobile Photos Photographs of the World's Finest Automobiles, Minneapolis, Minnesota; 26 photographs of stylish Buicks parked and "in situ" highlighting their sleek exteriors, a couple images labeled with Michigan country clubs, including Detroit, Flint, and Grosse Point; and 90 more miscellaneous photographs, mostly featuring races and drives, sometimes accidents. Silver prints, most of the images measuring 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, the larger panorama 11x19 inches (27.9x48.3 cm.) and oversize image 14 3/4x20 3/4 inches (37.5x52.7 cm.), some mounted and one small album, with a variety of captions and dates on recto or verso. Circa 1900-30s (some a bit later)
