Additional Details

A fantastical and humorous drawing of a bemused dragon entrapping a distressed damsel (a wooden puppet) in his hooves. She is apparently about to be rescued by a rather stunned knight riding a Seuss-tastically armored horse who has just caught the dragon's gaze as they gallop atop his back. Seuss had colored the knight blue in this drawing, though the cartoon was published uncolored and in a diminutive size of 2 1/2x3 inches in the magazine. A wonderful, large, and detailed early Seuss drawing.
