Additional Details

Rare compilation of silhouttes of Empress Catherine II, her imperial family, court nobility and foreign dignitaries. The original silhouettes were created by Frederic George Sideau during his residence in St. Petersburg from 1782-1784 and collected by Count P. Razumovsky. By descent through his family, Razumovsky's grandson Duke George of Mecklenburg-Strelitz saw to their publication in the present volumes in 1899.
