A wonderful early 18th-century engraved chart showing the orbits of the planets and paths of the comets observed by astronomers Edmund Halley and William Whiston. First issued by Whiston in 1712, this edition of the chart was re-engraved and included in John Senex's New General Atlas, circa 1720. with: Small printed broadside "A catalogue of the maps as they are placed in this book" listing 34 maps, number 1 being the present chart.
