Irving include images of substantial sarcophagi, tasteful tombstones, simple to elaborate obelisks and pedestals, and magnificent mausoleums, some with highly detailed Gothic ornamentation. Albumen prints, the images measuring approximately 9 1/4x7 3/4 inches (23.5x19.7 cm.), and the reverse, mounted recto/verso, each with an inventory notation, in the negative, or in ink, in the image area. 4to, black-stamped buff cloth with Irving's credit and address; soiled with light pencil notations on front cover. 1890s
