Contents consist of 7 circular original hand-colored lithographic plates with apertures for viewing laid in loose, each 245mm diameter, for an optical toy; views include a dancing couple, a cat chasing a bird, a rocking horse and skipping rope, a rat escaping a hole, a blue bird flying over roses, a dining glutton, and one plate on slightly thinner stock, collaged, showing a rat leaping into a man's mouth, two of the disks have images which extend beyond the circle, but these parts are worn with some loss; lacking the wood, brass and ivory handle.
