Group of 28 miscellaneous photographs of people and places in China, with occupationals (including a female musician with bound feet), a picturesque scene of the Emperor's Garden (Peking), men gambling, the Ming Tombs, "Princes Porch Yuen Ming Yueng," "Instrument Observatory, Peking," a hand-tinted scene captioned "Wo Cheong Hong, Residence of M. Chickel (sp?), Shanghai," 4 photographs depicting the Chinese quarter in Singapore and one of a busy (Manilla?) street scene. Albumen prints, 5 1/4x4 3/4 to 8 1/4x10 1/2 inches (13.3x12.1 to 21x26.7 cm.), two with captions in the negative, a few with handwritten notations on the mount and/or print verso; one with Fong Chow's notations, in Chinese, on a post-it attached to the sleeve and another with his notations, "Wong Pu," in English. 1860s-1870s
