Small oblong folio, 260x330 mm; 10 1/4x13 inches, original cloth-backed patterned-paper boards with embroidered silk corners and hand-written cover label (likely a replacement), fastened with cord in oriental style, only very mild wear including some wear and foxing to endpapers, some offsetting from oxidation of metallic paint. Contemporary owner's (or publisher's gift?) inscription with Chinese monogram stamp on title-page. first edition. one of only 100 unnumbered copies of this scarce work.
