Rap Brown, Ralph Abernathy, Floyd McKissick, Adam Clayton Powell Jr., and more. Other images include Myrlie Evers at her husband's open casket; student Vivian Malone shown desegregating the University of Alabama campus in 1963; Charlayne Hunter desegregating the University of Georgia in 1961; the Black Power salute by Tommy Smith and Juan Carlos at the 1968 Olympics; a lunch counter protest; and riot images from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Detroit. The images have manuscript chapter and image numbers on verso, apparently for an unidentified book project.
