Additional Details

A large group showing rioting, civil rights protests, and police brutality in the United States. These were printed for a European audience, and are in a smaller format than most American press photos. Many show the 1967 Detroit riot, but others range from New York to San Francisco and beyond. At least two are from protests outside America, depicting Quebecois separatists and Ecuadorian student rioters. One shows H. Rap Brown being arrested in Washington, July 1967.
