[New York:] Inkworks, [1979] Poster for the march and demonstration at the United Nations in New York City, organized by the National Peoples Tribunal "The Elections Don't Mean Shit. Vote Where Power Is. Our Power is in the Street." Black-and-white photo-montage poster, 22 x 17 inches; two short closed tears to the margins at the top of the poster, not affecting the image. A rare poster from SDS, "The Students for a Democratic Society," an early part of the New Left, that sprung up parallel to the Civil Rights movement, and the more radical Black Panthers.
