Additional Details

This conference was held as the lunch counter desegregation sit-ins were becoming a mass national movement. Includes a general information packet with a meeting agenda, floor plan, and conference rules; a "Resolution of the Styles Committee"; and detailed summaries of speeches by Sam Bowles, Curtis Gans, Max Heinrich, Paul Rilling, Rolf Kjolseth, Allard Lowenstein, Warren Wickersham, James Alrutz, and Mahendra Widjesinghe.

We find no other materials from this conference in OCLC or at auction, although a similar packet is held at Atlanta University.
