Additional Details

A man to the left of the frame carries a distinctive printed sign from the March on Washington reading "We Demand an End to Bias Now!" Further in the background can be seen part of another march sign, "We March for Higher Minimum Wages, Coverage for All Workers Now!" The woman in the foreground to the right wears a well-known pin from the day with white and black hands clasping and text reading "March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom."

With--three other photographs, all a bit smaller, about 14 x 11 inches each. They may or may not date from the same day. A woman in sunglasses stands outdoors with a name tag, four men are seated on a park bench, a small child plays at a concrete water fountain. These are all apparently professional photographs, and all but the woman with sunglasses were mounted for display, but they have no photographer markings. One bears a faint inked stamp on verso from the "Correspondence Department."
