Additional Details

The famous Brown vs Board of Education case that changed the entire concept of 'separate but equal.' Based in large part on some studies done by Kenneth Clark and his wife, both psychologists. It was noted in experiments that young black children had been so indoctrinated that they chose the 'good' white dollies, rather than dolls of their own color. While this is simplifying the issue, it really came down to this and other studies done with young black children.
