A poster in support of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party, an integrated effort to supplant the segregated all-white Democratic Party in Mississippi at the Democratic National Convention. They sent 64 delegates to the convention in Atlantic City, NJ, but were denied recognition--though President Johnson did offer them an insulting two at-large seats. We trace only one other copy of this anonymous poster at auction.
