Additional Details

This album was assembled by Captain Myles Walter Keogh. Keogh fought alongside General George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn, where he ultimately met his death. The album descended through Keogh's family and was purchased from Keogh's great nephew in 1986 by Dr. Elizabeth Atwood Lawrence, the renowned Custer collector.
