Includes a partly-printed vellum Document Signed by Abraham Lincoln, appointing him a 1st Lieutenant, a 1904 photographic postcard of Christ Church in Gettysburg with an Autograph Note Signed, on verso, by French, detailing the amputation of his arm on the first day of battle, a vellum Document brevetting him a Major for his service at Gettysburg (with Andrew Johnson's stamped signature), a 2 page 1907 autograph manuscript by French outlining his entire military career, much material related to his post 1863 service in the invalid corps and post-war service in the Loyal Legion, letters and documents relating to his military pension, a document Signed by Benjamin Harrison, as President, appointing him a notary, several medals and badges (including his Lieutenant bars), a ticket to the Johnson impeachment hearings, Grand Army of the Republic leaflets and approximately 15 cdvs of Civil War soldiers and family members (including several of himself).
