A point-of-sale advertisement for an 1861 edition of "The Zouave's Light Infantry Tactics" by J.H. DeWitt and revised by John M. Gosline at the outset of the war. Boldly illustrated with a Union zouave about to run through a Confederate soldier with his sword. The book itself is quite scarce, with only two copies in OCLC; this poster may be a unique survival.
