Brown, Joseph's brother], inviting Frank to visit him and explore his library, and commenting on the second volume of "my work" [A Constitutional View of the Late War between the States?]: "Its great object was to indicate truth--and to accentuate Southern character." 2 pages, 8vo, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; folds. The second, "Alex H. Stephens," as Congressman, to John S.
