Much like the previous lot, this 6-panel cartoon pamphlet has some fun with the circumstances of Davis's capture while recounting the path of the war. For 1864, a picture of a chicken is captioned "The Spirit of the Retreating Army," and in 1865, the inevitable image of Davis in drag is captioned "A change of uniform is necessary. He now believes in woman's rights, and avails himself of the advantages."
