[Pleasant?] Clark of the 2nd Mississippi Infantry: "Have not been in a fight yet but we are expecting a fight every minute, we sleep on our arms every night we sent out some scouts and it is thought they are fighting now . . . Our army is moving north and I hope we will bee able to reocupy Tennessee again."
