Felix Holdeman of the 110th Ohio. 5 letters to friend Abel Chew of Ansonia, OH. On 8 December 1864, expresses his hope that "the revels will hav all their harts cut out before long and whipt. I would not mind running over their carcases if thay was piled up like the mountains in Virginia. It neve made me feel sorry to see piles of dead rebels, the larger the pile the better. . . . I will send you a few cullerd gentlemen, one for Aunt Sallie." Condition rough; all but one laminated. 1864-1865.
