Albumen photographs in various sizes, from photographs under 3/4 inches round to more than 2 inches in height oval, each in unmatched decorative frames and apparently period pinbacks on verso, with no maker's marks; at most, minor wear. The Lincoln is just under 1 1/4 inches round, apparently a photograph of an engraving. 3 of the pins depict General Ulysses S. Grant in uniform, and another depicts General William T. Sherman. The final one depicts an unidentified Union soldier whose hat and uniform are hand-tinted.
